Dishwasher plumbing in Coventry for new and replacement dishwashers, including integrated models. We connect the water feed and drain, check the socket and run a test cycle.
A freestanding dishwasher just needs connecting and sliding into place. An integrated one sits behind a kitchen door panel, so it has to be level, fixed to the worktop and lined up with the doors either side. That takes more care and a little longer.
If your kitchen has never had a dishwasher, a 60cm or 45cm unit usually needs removing to make space. We then run a cold feed and waste to the gap and make sure there's a socket within reach, usually in the cupboard next door.
The drain hose must loop up high before it joins the sink trap or standpipe, or dirty water can flow back into the machine. Getting this wrong causes smells and poor cleaning, so we check the hose height and fit the right trap.
We start by checking the space, the pipes under the sink and the nearest socket. If the dishwasher is going where there wasn't one before, we explain what needs moving and give you a free quote first.
We fit a valve on the cold supply, connect the drain to the sink trap and make sure the socket is in place. Integrated models are levelled and fixed in. Finally, we run a full cycle and check underneath for leaks before we tidy up.
Tell us about the leak, fault or project. We aim to respond the same day, and there's no call-out charge.
We look at the job in person and give you a free, no-obligation quote before any work starts.
We finish the job, test everything we have fitted and certify the work before we hand it back to you.
Yes. We remove a base unit to make space, run a cold supply and waste to the gap and add a socket if there isn't one close by. Because we do the plumbing and electrics ourselves, it's all handled by one team and covered in one quote.
Check the filter in the bottom of the machine first, as that's the most common cause. If it's clear, the problem may be a kinked drain hose, a blocked sink trap or a waste spigot that was never opened when it was fitted. We can check the plumbing side for you.
Yes. Integrated dishwashers sit behind a door that matches your kitchen. We connect the plumbing, level the machine, fix it to the underside of the worktop and fit the door panel so it lines up with the doors either side and opens smoothly.
Clean the filter regularly and run an empty hot wash now and then. If it still smells, dirty water may be siphoning back from the sink waste because the drain hose isn't looped high enough. We can check the connection and put it right.
